Purchasing a voucher

There are some limits you need to be aware of before purchasing a voucher. Gliders are unpowered aircraft and weights and balances are critical to their safe operation. The person flying must be
  • Between 5ft and 6ft 2in (152 - 188cm)
  • Weigh less than 224lbs (16st, 102kg)
  • Fit and healthy. In particular must not suffer from angina, coronary conditions, heart bypasses, hypertension, fainting fits, motion sickness or diziness
Anyone turning up to fly who has consumed alcohol will NOT be permitted to fly. The club reserves the right to refuse a flight if, in the judgement of the duty instructor, flying would be unsafe or dangerous.
